Large Wholesale African warthog tusks ranging in size from 10 inches to 10-7/8 inches imported from South Africa, measured around the curve of the tusk using a cloth tape measure - not straight! These are good, commercial grade tusks. Some may have tiny surface cracks and chips. Warthog ivory is used for making knife handles, carvings, making warthog handles for walking canes and for numerous taxidermy craft projects. Warthogs got their names from the bumps on their faces that look like warts. They also each have four tusks, two on each side of their snouts. The upper tusks are longer and curve toward each other. Warthogs are pigs that live in Africa south of the Sahara.
