Product Details

Wholesale badger skulls from North America, mouth glued shut with hot melt glue.  These badger skulls measure between approximately 4 and 4-3/4 inches and have been cleaned; however, they will have some darker areas on the skull.  They will not be pure white. These badger skulls have been glued shut with hot melt glue.   We will select skulls that look similar to those pictured.  No 2 will be identical.  These are real skulls from wild badger and will have natural imperfections.

American badger habitat is typefied by open grasslands with available prey (such as mice, squirrels, and groundhogs).  The species prefers areas with sandy loam soils where it can dig more easily for its prey, such as prairie regions. American badgers are largely nocturnal, but have been reported to be active during the day as well.  They do not hibernate, but become less active in winter.  A badger may spend much of the winter in cycles of torpor that last around 29 hours.  They do emerge from their setts when the temperature is above freezing.
