Wholesale dyed Pila Globosa or apple snail shells for crafts come in assorted colors in variations of greens, oranges, rusts, yellows, purple, pink, mauve, blues and more and measure between 1-1/4 inches and  2 inches.  These pila globosa shells, or apple snail shells are used in shellcraft projects and for shells for hermit crabs. 
In certain part of the distributional range of Pila globosa, it is a preferred food source by human and it is also used as food in poultry industry.  Pila globosa has a large and deep umbilicus. The natural colour varies from olive green to grey green with a tinge of red. A large number of variations are known. The interior of the shell is dull reddish with very faint spiral bands visible, white at the columella.

Our shells are commercial grade. All seashells sold in bulk, may contain some shells with chipped edges and natural blemishes.
