Case of wholesale serpent's-head cowries in bulk, Cypraea caputserpentis, measure between approximately 3/4 inch and 1-1/4 inches in size. These snakehead cowries are small shells used in making shell animals, shell characters, seashell candles, mirrors, wreaths and shell ornaments. The cowries, with their shiny shells and astonishing variety of patterns and colors, probably have been the shell family most popular with shell collectors over the centuries. The shiny surface of cowries has a mysterious attraction for many people. The first shell that a new collector is drawn to is almost always a cowrie.          

 

Our shells are commercial grade. All seashells sold in bulk, by the gallon and by the kilo will contain some unusable shells and there will be a little gravel in the bags!
